Future Habitats Limited was established by Mark Fenech and Piera Mamo in 2002.
Mark and Piera are both university graduates and software engineers. As of 2002 they already had a wealth of knowledge gathered by the need to design and develop a multitude of solutions ranging from mainframe programs to low level device drivers and programs for mobile devices. Clients included multinational companies in various sectors mainly telecommunications, retail and banking – usually with multimillion budgets reserved for information technology.
The technology used for different projects was diverse as was the field of application. It was not enough to invest in books and courses on technology but it was essential to understand the business logic to provide the required solutions.
This insight had given Mark and Piera a unique perspective and methodology for implementing smart habitats –after all logic is expressed through software, and as software engineers with system integration experience this struck a perfect balance.
Future Habitats foundations lay in the application of systems design paradigms imported from the software and IT industry and applied to residential and business spaces to create smart environments.
During these past 9 years we had the opportunity to create spectacular automated/integrated home systems for very important people – our clients. Our projects have included the integration of intelligent lighting, ambiance control, multi-room music systems, video distribution, security, networks & structured wiring, motorised window and door dressing, CCTV and intercom systems.
Our clients are all so very different – hence no two habitats designed by Future Habitats will ever be the same. However, all clients have access to the years of expertise and knowledge that our team has taken pride in obtaining. If you can imagine it – we can do it.
These past 5 years Future Habitats has expanded its operations to include the supply of power distribution, motorisation, networking and architectural lighting products.
We have searched for reliable brands and for innovative solutions so that our clients can have a more comfortable and functional, living or working environment.
Our services include: system design, implementation, technical support
after-sales service, wholesale and retail activities as well as manufacture of
motorised window dressing.
