SilverScreen Fabric
The SilverScreen fabric is the ultimate solution for solar heat and light control. The ultra-fine layer of aluminum on the SilverScreen screen fabric dramatically improves the solar energy performance, whilst demonstrating excellent view through. Besides, SilverScreen adds a contemporary style to architectural design on the interior as well as on the exterior of the building. Available in 10 colours and 4% transparency, SilverScreen™ maintains all of its energy efficiencies and glare reduction capabilities across its entire colour range.
During the summer SilverScreen keeps the warmth outside, due to the reflecting metal layer and it will reduce the loss of warmth during the winter. This results in considerable savings on the costs of energy (airconditioning, heating etc.), but it also reduces the amount of CO²-emissions.
The visual glare and heat gain properties of common screens depend on the colour of the screen. With SilverScreen, thanks to the aluminium layer on the reverse side, these properties are practically independent of the colour of the screen. Furthermore, SilverScreen provides a good visual contact to the outside world.
The SilverScreen fabric is suitable for roller blinds and panel glides.
EnviroScreen - the greener blind
EnviroScreen is a highly reflective, robust, transparent, metallised fabric, which provides visual and thermal comfort. It is woven from polyester Trevira CS treated yarns in a screen-like construction, but with a clear textile appearance suitable for both roller blinds and panel tracks. Thanks to the high reflectivity, EnviroScreen lowers heating- and cooling costs substantially. This results in a reduction of CO2 emissions, and therefore minimises the greenhouse effect.
EnviroScreen is available in 2 transparencies, 2% and 10% openness factor (OF), and is offered in 6 attractive colours. Even with the 2% OF, EnviroScreen allows a very good view through.
EnviroScreen is formaldehyde and PVC-free. The fabrics are produced in compliance with ISO 14001, the international environmental standard. It is woven with polyester Trivera CS fibres making it inherrantly flame retardant. EnviroScreen is Öko-Tex and Greenguard certified and will therefore contribute significantly to obtaining points in green building rating tools such as LEED, Green Star, Breeam etc.
