Position Title: Home Automation Apprentice
Contract Type: Indefinite
Description: The Home Automation Apprentice will assist in the installation, configuration and programming of home automation systems including, traditional electrical devices, intelligent lighting systems, security systems, CCTV, distributed audio and video, motorisation, ambiance control and structured wiring.
The Home Automation Apprentice is expected to work a 40 hour week between Mondays to Fridays with alternating weeks on-call. In addition the Home Automation Apprentice is expected to assist in the sales of traditional electrical devices and home automation products in a retail shop environment.
Requirements:
- Enemalta License A
- 2 years work experience after having obtained the Licence A
- Have own method of transport
- Computer skills
- Fluent in English
- Proactive in learning and self tuition to become a Home Automation Specialist
- Be assertive and can listen and converse clearly
- Adhere to the company’s policies and procedures
Position Title: Home Automation Specialist Designate
Contract Type: Indefinite
Description: The Home Automation Specialist Designate will
- Have a complete awareness of the technology used by the company in the shortest possible time to become a Home Automation Specialist
- Design and assist in the installation, configuration and programming of home automation systems including, traditional electrical devices, intelligent lighting systems, security systems, CCTV, distributed audio and video, motorisation, ambiance control and structured wiring
- Create procedures and policies for continuous improvement
- Update and enforce best methods of work practices
- Manage projects and ensure that design documents are up to date
- Manage Home Automation Apprentices
- Carry out technology presentations to ensure that relevant personnel are kept abreast of new technology developed by the company’s suppliers
The Home Automation Specialist is expected to work a 40 hour week between Monday and Friday. In addition the Home Automation Specialist is expected to assist in the sales of traditional electrical devices and home automation products in a retail shop environment.
Requirements:
- Enemalta License A (Licence B will be an asset)
- 3 years work experience after having obtained the Licence A
- Have own method of transport
- Computer skills and ability to use CAD software
- Fluent in English
- Proactive in learning and self tuition to become a Chief Home Automation Specialist
- Be assertive and can listen and converse clearly
- Adhere to the company’s policies and procedures
